Answer: The term Hebrew Pentecostal recognizes the existence of the bond between Judaism and Christianity, both having the Hebrew or Jewish Scriptures (Tanakh) as their foundation; what Christians commonly refer to as the Old Testament. The primary difference between Hebrew Pentecostalism and Judaism is that Hebrew Pentecostals accept and acknowledge that Jesus is the Messiah. The primary differences between Hebrew Pentecostals and mainstream Pentecostals is Hebrew Pentecostals keep the biblical Sabbath (Saturday) as the day of veneration rather than the Christian Sabbath (Sunday).
